e-Incubator

The SAY e-Incubator is a 6 month-long programme that will guide you through the process of launching a new venture, from ideation to feasibility to customer discovery to investor readiness. The e-Incubator programme delivers the training in a structured but lean-focused format designed to produce a minimum viable product in the shortest time, across three main stages:

1. Mindsetting – to get you into the right frame of mind to think and act entrepreneurially
2. Process-Orientation – to orient you to the right track for launch
3. Practising for Practice – to train you for the rigours of entrepreneurial practice

You will be assigned a Mentor throughout the programme to advise, coach and mentor you, from development of your idea and to market launch.

The SAY e-Incubator combines collaboration and teleconferencing technologies with aptitude tests, online discussion forum and business simulations to assess, train and prepare you for interaction with stakeholders. Over the course of the programme, SAY will turn your idea into a viable business in an affordable way.

• Action-focused process: with guidance you through each phase of the journey
• Customised learning programme: with support and resources
• Peer-to-peer support network: to help you create and grow your network online
• Certificate of Completion: by completing additional training, you could qualify for a Certificate in Applied Enterprise & Entrepreneurship
• Scheduled workload: you must allocate at least 7-10 hours per week to work on your business idea.
• Team-based Support: access to a team of experienced mentors to guide your development

• Assistance with validating business idea through “stress testing”
• Refinement of new venture idea into a minimum viable product (MVP) in a safe learning environment
• Access to a unique e-infrastructure of process, services and support
• Access to a customised learning programme, learning materials and mentorship

• You must write a short description of your business idea
• You must agree to a Professional Development Programme
• You must be ready to succeed!

Upon review and acceptance, we outline a work programme specific to your idea, market and industry. Once agreed, we work with you to help turn your idea into reality.

If successful in joining the programme, you will be required to:

• Pay an application fee of £599 (you will be assigned a mentor and granted access to our online discussion forum)
• Agree your work programme, take ownership of your entrepreneur toolkit and start by the agreed date
• Agree a schedule of regular communication with your Mentor
• Allocate at least 7-10 hours per week to work on your business idea
• Keep your mentor up to date on your progress via our online discussion forum
• Be respectful and appreciate the guidance provided by your mentors
